ECOLITE expanded glass granules, in combination with thermoset resins, can create strong, lightweight and economical cellular composite foams. Ecolite can also be used to produce low cost Al Syntactic foams.

Features of cellular composites that incorporate expanded glass granules:

  • Reduced weight

  • Improved workability/flowability

  • Lower cost than using hollow glass spheres

  • Reduced cracking and brittleness
